Want more color and pop? Pro K50 LED Add-On Kit. The Pro K50 kit has all the great color and pop you have come to expect from Reef Brite products with added Violet LED’s for even more color and fluorescence. Utilizing 128 high output LEDs the Pro K50 produces a lot of light and is designed to spread the radiant power produced over a very wide field to eliminate shadowing and dead spots. The custom Ultra Actinic units will produce a beautiful actinic light designed to compliment any lighting system. Measuring 16 inches by 0.5 inches high and 2.4 inches wide, the Pro K50 LED Add-On Kit looks as good as it performs. Included are two custom 16″ Ultra Actinic Pro LED’s, an in-line dimmer, a Y connector, power supply, mounting brackets, and hardware.
Can be used with Radion XR 30/XR15, Kessil, AI Hydra, and even Prime users can mount up to two Prime’s for a cost effective lighting rack (For Prime’s additional hardware is required and sold separately).
Can be controlled with Hydros and Apex controllers (Appropriate Reef Brite LED interface required sold separately). They can also be controlled using the new Reef Brite Wireless Bluetooth LE controller (Sold separately) which works with Apple® and Android™ devices.

Reef Brite has gone through great care to ensure that the K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT installs seamlessly to your fixture. Due to various tank sizes/glass thicknesses and other style mounts offered, before installing. It is very important that you check your manufacturers’ specifications as well as checking the mount you are using to ensure that it is compatible and can support the additional weight. Reef Brite will not be responsible for improperly installed kits or any damage that may result.

Installation instructions for RMS and HMS™ mounts:
When working near or around your aquarium, make sure all working surfaces are completely dry before handling any electrical equipment.
Make sure your fixture is unplugged from the electrical outlet and disconnected from the power supply before attempting to install the K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT.
If fixture was in use even for just a short period let cool. LED’s can get very hot during operation and can cause personal injury or damage surfaces if proper care in handling is not taken.
Once cool, place fixture on a secure table or work surface.
XR series, locate the four 4 pcs M5 x 0.80mm Thread, 12mm Long Steel Phillips Flat Head Screws included with your K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT.
Hydra HD series, locate the 2 pcs M5 x 0.80mm Thread, 25mm Long Steel Phillips Flat Head Screw and 2 pcs M5 Screw Size, 5.2mm ID, 13mm OD, Black Nylon Plastic Countersunk Washers came with your K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT.
These screws are required to install the K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT.
Do not attempt to use hardware not supplied with your K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT as damage to your fixture could result.
Attach the two brackets that came with your K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT by placing them in between the RMS or HMS™ mount for your XR or Hydra HD series light placing it between the light and the RMS or HMS mount so that the holes align with the threaded holes on your fixture.
Using the hardware provided, attach the brackets and mount to the fixture. It is recommended to use care when threading the screws and avoid overtightening the screws once installed.
To install the two included Lumi Lite Pro Ultra Actinic units, gently slide them into the clamps ensure that the plastic set screws are loosened slightly to allow the fixture to slide through the clamp itself.
Once the Lumi Lite Pro Ultra Actinic units are slide into place and centered, gently tighten the set screws to hold the attached Ultra Actinic unit in place in the clamp.
Using the supplied 2-way connector plug in each of the two Lumi Lite Pro Ultra Actinic units.
Attach the supplied power supply in your K50 Pro LED ADD-ON KIT to the supplied 2-way connector.
When plugging in the 2-way connector to the Lumi Lite Pro Ultra Actinic units, make sure to insert plugs
until you feel them lock in place.
Make sure to locate the power supply in a safe location away from any contact with water.
Carefully attach your fixture to the aquarium mount, plug in fixture and power supply to a GFI outlet (Recommended) assuring a proper drip loop is employed.
Important note: Use of power strips located on floors or any location where water can come in direct contact with them is dangerous and can cause serious injury or fire. Make sure all electrical plugs and electrical outlets are safely located so that water cannot splash or spill on them.
